Assassination attempt on Ugandan minister kills 2
Ugandan Transport Minister and former army commander, General Katumba Wamala, has been injured while his daughter and the driver were killed in an assassination attempt carried out by unknown attackers on motorcycles.
The armed attackers fired at the vehicle in which they were being driven early Tuesday in Kampala's residential Kisaasi neighbourhood. General Katumba Wamala is currently hospitalised receiving treatment.
