Back delivering Women’s self-defence courses

Last week saw Cerberus Solutions back delivering self-defence training for women’s only groups. After the Sarah Everard incident the enquiries for Women’s only self-defence courses has been massive. So many Women are realising that this is a necessary life skill in todays world!

A group of five friends had a 2 hour self-defence taster session for one of the groups birthday. The session was delivered in one of their back gardens and all participants and trainers undertook a PCS COVID test before the session started.

We started off with a brief discussion around situational awareness, criminal behaviour and the victim mentality and mind set and a brief discussion on rapist psychology. This was followed by practical sessions on striking and kicking options followed by grab release techniques and finally floor escape drills.

A great and fun group to work with, enthusiastic, energetic and inquisitive.

Testimonial - “I contacted Cerberus Solutions as I was looking to arrange a birthday surprise for a friend and thought a self defence class would be fun. From my first initial enquiry they were fantastic. They called me straight back and were so accommodating for what we wanted and flexible but very diligent with all the covid restrictions. The communication throughout was first class. We did a 2 hour self-defence course and the session itself was absolutely brilliant. It was obvious from the first minute that the trainer was an expert and really knew what he was talking about. He made it fun, but also helped us build confidence in our ability to defend ourselves. With everything in the news lately it felt so good to learn skills that could help protect ourselves. The session was so good and informative we now all want to do the full day course and get our children involved in martial arts with the trainer when they are old enough. I couldn’t recommend Cerberus Solutions highly enough”.
